May Day in Pelion

The most "all-weather" destination, Pelion is a comfortable choice if you have 3 full days at your disposal.

You certainly won`t have time to visit the 24 beautiful villages and dozens of settlements it has, but you will get a good dose of both mountain and sea, both mountain villages and seaside ones.

Be sure to stop at Tsagarada and see its 1000-year-old plane tree, take a walk through Makrinitsa or the "balcony of Pelion" to enjoy a wonderful view of the Aegean, smell tradition in Portaria which has managed to preserve its traditional color, walk in Damouchari where scenes of "Mamma Mia" were filmed and take the train of Pelion to climb its beautiful slopes to Milies, another very beautiful village.
